Tutorial 59 · Desktop control: the program with no connector

What the video says

1. Open Connectors and switch on desktop control. It is for the old programs that have no way of connecting.
2. Leave the program you want it to work with in view. JMAX will look at the screen and use the mouse and keyboard, exactly as you would.
3. Ask for it by describing what you would do: open the invoicing program and find invoice one thousand and forty two.
4. Watch it work in the Detail panel: every click and every keystroke is logged. You can stop it at any moment with the red square.
5. Do not leave it alone the first time. Check that it does what you expected before you trust it with the real task.
